Bobby Lay

When Debbie and Bobby Lay were first introduced to The Opportunity, they were not looking to start another business. Bobby was working full-time in his ministry and in advertising. Debbie had left behind an alternative health business to become a full-time caregiver for their disabled adult daughter. Even though they felt their schedules were already too full, there was something drawing them to Kynect—recurring income.

Once they made the decision to join in 2008, they discovered The Opportunity gave them the ability to leverage their time by recruiting leaders to their team. In 2009 they were awarded The Rising Star Award, and in 2011 The Power of Leadership Award. They have learned how important it is to stay plugged in to Kynect, to attend and promote the live Kynect events that are not only fun, but create momentum and help catch the latest expansion wave. Expansion is a way of life with Kynect.

The Lays have several long-term goals they are working toward: become debt-free so they can spend more time in Missionary Ministry; spread The Opportunity nationwide to bring financial stability to as many families as possible; and to enjoy the rest of their lives. And all of this is possible because of recurring income from Kynect.

As with any business, results may vary. In 2017, the average associate earned $178.07 while Engaged associates earned $1,139. To learn more about “average” versus “engaged” Associates, please visit
