Darren & Tina Gordon
For Tina Gordon, from St. Albans in Queens, New York, her career before Kynect was pretty much the opposite of time freedom—both literally and metaphorically. She spent 17 years working for the New York City Department of Corrections, and her husband Darren is a 20-year veteran of the department as well.
“Life was busy,” Tina said. Both Tina and Darren were working 16 hour shifts, almost daily, which made home life difficult. “We saw Kynect as the vehicle that could give us our time back and let us make money at the same time.”
Thanks to Kynect, Tina retired from the Department of Corrections two years early. Her long-term goals are to help people—especially families—realize there’s a better way to earn money, have fun doing it, and achieve the stable family life she now enjoys.
“I’m now a stay-at-home mom able to spend precious time with my young daughters, Dania and Deanna.”
No more 16 hour days—unless those are 16 hour mother-daughter play days, of course.
